Qastor Move app for iPhone and iPad

Qastor Move is a companion to the Qastor desktop application that allows you to view essential vessel navigation information on your mobile device. Note: This app only works with the Qastor Windows application, which must already be installed on your computer/laptop.

Qastor Move receives real-time data from the Qastor desktop application, which is a powerful electronic charting system that gives pilots easy –to-use and easy-to-understand information. In addition to supporting piloting operations, Qastor Move is also useful in many other fields, such as Ship Trials, Oil Rig Positioning, Ferry Operations, Oil and Gas Tanker Approaches, and Docking.

Qastor Move has two modes:

Navigation Mode, which displays:

-Heading
-Rate of Turn
-Distance Along Track
-Across Track Error
-Course to Steer
-Course over Ground
-Speed over Ground

Approach or Docking Mode, which displays:

-Mooring forward port and starboard range
-Mooring aft port and starboard range
-Bow and Stern Across Track Error Values
-Bow Distance Along Track
-Angle relative to mooring line
-Athwart ship velocity of bow and stern
-Headway/Sternway
-Heading
-Course over Ground
-Speed over Ground
-Rate of Turn
